ABSTRACT
The “Organiser for Working Late” (OWL), an online design resource co-designed with industry, will be introduced during a workshop at EHF2013. OWL encourages communication between managers and workers when exploring the design of the workplace environment, equipment and systems people interact with, and need to use, as they age. To provide the right guidance to help people manage the effects of ageing it is essential to understand their user needs with respect to ageing and design (Williams, 2012a). This research forms part ofThe New Dynamics ofAgeing (NDA) research programme which is funded by the ESRC, BBSRC,AHRC, EPSRC and MRC (Williams, 2011).
