ABSTRACT

Prony algorithm based on real-time data produces a great influence on the identification of low frequency oscillation mode in power system.[3-5] The improved Prony algorithm can accurately identify leading oscillation mode in the system and obtain detailed parameters of low frequency oscillation. However, Prony algorithm is greatly influenced by noise and its order is hard to determine, so it can’t produce ideal imitative effect for non-stationary signal and has slow calculation speeds.
