ABSTRACT
As approximately 30% of CO2 emissions are generated by the electric power industry in Japan, improvement in thermal efficiency at thermal power plants and increased use of renewable energy such as hydro, solar, and wind power have been promoted as measures to reduce CO2 emissions. In the concrete sector also, efforts have been underway for CO2 reduction.
