ABSTRACT
It is extremely difficult to predict the future. However, unless we make efforts to establish a signpost by which to foresee the future, we will be lost and unable to grasp which direction to take. Hardly any attempts have been made to establish such signposts with respect to concrete. In Chapter 7, we examine a roadmap concerning concrete sustainability and introduce the IEA Energy Technology Perspectives (2010a) and Cement Technology Roadmap (IEA-WBCSD, 2009).
