ABSTRACT

The lithology of the experiment site was mainly composed of granite. Three geological sub-zones I II, IV were classified based on the intensity and orientation of fractures derived from borehole camera investigation, borehole cores of water curtain boreholes and sensor installation boreholes (Figure 2). The derived hydraulic conductivities perform high deviation due to the high difference between fractures and rock matrix. Especially the zone II, the hydraulic conductivities vary from 3.4 × 10−6 to 1 × 10−9 m/sec, compared to the mainly low permeable rock (1-3 × 10−9 m/sec) in zone I and IV.
