ABSTRACT
Two worked examples are given here for the calculation of the maximum deflection and rotation of buildings under horizontal load, braced by frameworks, shear walls and cores. The calculations are based on the material presented in Chapters 2 and 3, and the numbers of the equations used will be given on the righthand side in curly brackets.
