Viscosity of fluids for quality control, or to study rheological properties of a test material since the rate of shear can be varied.
Procedure (Analog)
1. Attach spindle (Figure 20.1A) to lower shaft. Lift the shaft slightly while holding it firmly with one hand. Screw in the spindle by turning to the left (clockwise).
