ABSTRACT
The purpose of System Integration Testing is basically to ensure that the different components of a system or solution function correctly together. This may be where different applications are integrated into a single solution (for instance, a standard Laboratory Information System is integrated with a standard mail server to send e-mails or where a standard weighing and dispensing system is integrated into a standard ERP system). This is also required where customised GAMP category 5 software is included as part of a solution.
