ABSTRACT
We all know what is meant by energy consumption. Most of us have to pay energy bills and we accept that we are charged for consuming energy just as we are charged for consuming other things. But are we consuming energy? According to the first law of thermodynamics, energy cannot be created nor annihilated. Then what is it that we consumed if it is not energy?
