ABSTRACT
The mission of the Center for Biologic Evaluation and Research (CBER) is to protect and enhance the public health through the regulation of biological and related products. The CBER’s Vision is “to advance the public health…through high quality science-based regulation to ensure safe and effective products reach the public as rapidly as possible.” As one of several FDA centers, CBER shares many things in common with those other centers, particularly the Center for Drugs Evaluation and Review (CDER) and the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH).
