ABSTRACT
Accordingly this study explores such investigation techniques with nondestructive ways to contribute to the maintenance and repair program of these PC structures. Specifically the cable breakage and following reanchoring of the cables in PC structure are evaluated with acoustic emission (AE) activity, which is generated due to micro-to macro-scopic fractures in materials or PC structures (Shiotani et al. 1999) corresponding to the mode of fracture (Grosse & Ohtsu 2008).
