With the reviewing of our 20th century built heritage, a continuously increasing number of historic concrete buildings are being listed as monuments. These buildings are listed because of their significance to society, which means that the monument should be protected together with its heritage values for future generations. Due to a poor state of conservation, historic concrete buildings may require future intervention.
