ABSTRACT
Immunosuppressive agents encompass cytotoxic anticancer drugs interfering with DNA structure and causing immunocompetent cell death as well as cytostatic graft-tolerance inducers which block the immunocompetent cell cycle, either by inhibition of cytokine pathways or by inhibition of DNA synthesis. Their respective mechanisms of action have been reviewed elsewhere.1
