ABSTRACT
Laboratory investigations in patients with suspected plasma cell disorders serve to confirm a diagnosis, differentiate between the various monoclonal gammopathies, help determine prognosis, decide on the best therapeutic approach, and monitor the course of the disease and the therapy.
