ABSTRACT

Indications In general, the indications for non-penetrating glaucoma surgery (NPGS) are wider and more inclusive than those for classical trabeculectomies, for two reasons: NPGS is safer but not less efficient than trabeculectomies,1 and NPGS is indicated in certain types of glaucoma where trabeculectomies normally fail or are not possible.
