ABSTRACT
Although any room may have an optimum acoustic environment, depending on the purpose for which it is intended, it is difficult to decide which is the ultimate goal because the final evaluation still relies on the subjective auditory sensation. However, with the knowledge so far gained, one can design the space acoustically without any serious defects. In this chapter we discuss the further research necessary to create a better acoustic environment in a room.
