ABSTRACT

Calculations are carried out for the air having an initial pressure p0=0.591 MPa and the temperature T 0=28 SK and the atmospheric pressure is assumed to be Par=O.IOIMPa. The value of the wall friction (4f, f; friction coefficient) and the contraction coefficient are also assumed to be 0.03 and 0.8, respectively. The numbers of the grid points are 172 for L=220m and 323 for L=442m, and the time interval 6. t is determined to satisfy the condition !:::. t<!:::. x/max(u+c) (u is a flow velocity and c is a sound velocity ).
