ABSTRACT

In this study, in order to put such suspensior systems to practical use, our main purpose is tc improve the pitching vibration properties concernin~ the car body as well as the vertical vibratior properties. We made a two wheeled vehicle mode equipped with the pneumatic servo type activ1 suspension. In this paper, we discuss the control o: · the attitude change of the car body caused by th1 pitching vibration mode. Especially, we investigate< the effect of the state variable and performanCI: criterion on the control performance, in the case o ' using the optimal control method. Some: experimental results exhibit the availability of such : L system for the attitude control of the vehicle.
