Writing effective specifications

Writing effective specifications is an important factor in achieving a successful painting or repainting contract. The specification could be considered as ‘the rules of the game’. If these are unclear to the players, the spectators or the referee, the game becomes an argument between the players and the quality of the game is lowered.
