ABSTRACT
An initial ergonomic evaluation of power plant maintenance activities yielded several beneficial recommendations. Key solutions involved selecting and testing personal protective equipment, analysis of work methods, and engineered solutions for material and equipment handling. The groundbreaking work performed during the first phase of the project was particularly challenging due to the constraints associated with the physical nature of a large power generating station.
