ABSTRACT
Description: Simulect is a chimeric (murine-human) monoclonal antibody with specific binding activity for the α-chain (CD25) of the human interleukin-2 (IL-2) receptor, which is expressed on the surface of activated lymphocytes. It is produced by recombinant DNA technology in murine myeloma cell culture and is supplied in a lyophilized form to be reconstituted for infusion or intravenous injection.
