ABSTRACT

Synthesis and study of novel mesoscopic organic molecules, polymers, and networks are at the frontier of chemistry [1]. Molecules and polymers with dendritic connectivity are among the most exciting subjects, relevant to both basic research and organic materials [2], New molecular architectures and functionalizations are critical to the understanding and discovery of materials with new properties. This chapter summarizes recent advances in design, synthesis, and characterization of organic mesoscopic molecules with very high spin.
