ABSTRACT
Most of the major classes of drugs for the treatment of central nervous system (CNS) disorders are relatively free from cardiovascular toxicologic effects. The exceptions to this are tricyclic antidepressants and licit and illicit psychostimulants, e.g. amphetamines, cocaine.
