ABSTRACT
The search for harmonization of technical standards throughout the European Community (EC) has led to the development of Eurocodes which are intended to replace the national codes. Eurocode 2 is the replacement standard for BS 8110. The provisions of Eurocode2(EC2) are similar to BS8110. This chapter summarises the main clauses with a few examples showing the comparison between the codes. Two useful publications are given at the end.
