ABSTRACT
Urinary incontinence is defined as any involuntary leakage of urine. Stress incontinence is the commonest form and is the involuntary loss of urine on physical exertion when the rise in intra-abdominal pressure overcomes the continent forces of the internal and external urethral sphincter mechanisms.
