ABSTRACT
Yabushita et al.1 aimed at establishing objective OCT image criteria for atherosclerotic plaque characterization in vitro. Jang et al.2, in the first OCT coronary imaging study in humans, confirmed the first in vitro findings, and confirmed the ability of OCT to visualize the plaque components in different clinical scenarios.
