ABSTRACT

At the beginning of the 21st century one of the crucial problems of the Central Asian countries Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan are water resources. The irrational use of water resources for intensive agriculture development, as well as global climate change that are currently taking place in this region could result in changes of the established equilibrations “climate/water” system (Glantz, 2002; Agaltseva, 2002; Khujanazarov et al., 2005).
