ABSTRACT
The photograph shows a solid-frame-type grid dam installed in the Shiramizudani Ravine that originates from the Yakedake Volcano. Continual surveys that aim to make clear the structure’s performance to control debris flow and to get more appropriate design criteria are on-going.
