ABSTRACT

The high physical load from the tasks performed by caregiver, can lead to the development of musculoskeletal disorders especially at the level of the back and upper limbs (Graça et al., 2008). Musculoskeletal injuries related to work (MSDs) are designated by a number of inflammatory and degenerative diseases from the locomotor system resulting from occupational risk factors such as repeatability, overload and/or the posture adopted during work (DGS, 2008).
