ABSTRACT
To overcome the difficulties above mentioned, KH560 coupling agent containing an epoxy group is employed to mix into epoxy matrix directly. This not only improves the operability in the process of manufacturing, but lowers the production cost. Furthermore, we investigate the effects of different KH560 content on tensile strength, fracture energy, and Tg of composites. At the same time, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analysis is made on fracture surfaces to visualize the damage process: fiber fracture, matrix rupture and interface rupture.
