ABSTRACT

Nanoparticles are widely used in different industries due to their smaller size, various shapes and increased surface area, and exhibit dissimilar properties than their parent materials. Due to these unique properties, numerous applications can be adapted and tuned for specific use in different fields, but are not limited to biomedicine, catalysis, energy storage and energy generating devices (Reiss et al. 2005, Warsi et al. 2010, Ragupathi et al. 2015, Shahid et al. 2013).
