ABSTRACT

Swimming is a special sport based on water as its particular playing environment. Compared with other land-based sports, it presents higher requirements to achieve high-quality teaching. Traditional swimming teaching is faced with many problems and difficulties, such as visual impairment in water, poor effect of demonstration on land, fuzzy definition of wrong movements, and failure to compare body movements. However, the application of virtual reality technology in swimming teaching can help to avoid those problems. Based on literature data method and experimental design method, the work studied the necessity and feasibility of applying virtual reality technology in swimming teaching. At the same time, some specific technology plans were proposed in the work.
