ABSTRACT

Improved device of the automated laboratory bench for thermomechanical testing of solid materials with "shape memory". During the thermostating process under isometric conditions the tensions are reduced due to the relaxation processes occurring in the thermoplastic polymer with a linear structure. On the reliability of the results obtained under cyclic thermo mechanical studies of rigid materials that undergo structural changes when heated during thermal cycling is significantly affected by the interaction of the sample with the grips of the testing machine. Thermal cycling tests of materials are widely used in industrial and research laboratory practice to determine the mechanical and relaxation characteristics of samples as well as the service life of the finished product. For settlement and subsequent testing of the stand, completed with new grip force components, in order to identify and determine the magnitude of the potential error measurement during thermal cycling upper and lower sample holders were fastened by pin.
