ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses a storage measurement method to test projectile's interior ballistic motion parameters on the basis of conducting a force analysis on nose to tail loaded projectile. It explores designed a kind of storage measurement device which could measure projectile's base pressure, nose pressure and its motion acceleration based on carrying out the sensor selection, analyzing circuit characteristics and many other works. This device can be used to acquire data about projectile's motion parameters under nose to tail loading state and has certain significance of analyzing the projectile's motion law. The device can measure the projectile's base pressure, nose pressure and its motion acceleration at the same time, and has certain significance on the test of projectile's motion parameters testing under nose to tail loading state. Pressure sensors projectile's weight, volume and structure the same as actual projectile. The duration of projectile's interior ballistic motion is about ten milliseconds.
