ABSTRACT
The information flow involved in the production information management system was analyzed. The database of the production information management system was designed. The researchers can lay a good foundation for the development of production information management system for automotive enterprise and hence improve the management and informatization level. The information management system should be able to optimize the information management process. The modern industries must implement new information technologies as an efficient operation mode, which can enhance the core competitiveness of Chinese enterprises, and reduce business waste. An information system can only be full of vitality when it's in accordance with the actual needs of users. Production information contains all the production related information during the product life cycle, such as order information, delivery information, and production management and production cycle table. The presented research aims to improve the management level of automotive enterprise by implementing an information system.
