ABSTRACT

Idea of coal shearer automated control is substantiated in terms of coal cutting and loading with the help of auger using a criterion of power rescheduling. Ratios of cutting power and loading power at different coal shearer velocities as well as coal cutting resistance have been determined. Dependence of maximum velocity of a coal shearer as for sustainable electric drive power on auger rotational frequency is demonstrated. A technique to divide power by cutting drive into components connected with a process of coal cutting and loading with the help of auger is proposed. An approach to determining commanded and feeding velocity levels on the criterion of coal cutting and loading power rescheduling with the help of auger has been substantiated.
