The flourishing of market economy and the related huge variety of products, over-saturation of the market with high quality products have led to increased competition in the markets. The most important condition for the success and prosperity of high quality steel products is satisfying the ever-growing demands for it. Quality improvement has become a leitmotif of industrial and scientific activities of enterprises and associations, even companies with a worldwide reputation. The basis for quality assurance has been and remains the level of production technology. That level of engineering technology today has become the most important factor, not only the economic power of the country, but also its national prestige, authority in the world.
