ABSTRACT

Cycloidal gear speed reducer is a new type of gear drive mechanism. It has been applied in the field of petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, mine, pharmacy, food, spinning, hoisting and conveying industry, etc. Cycloidal gear is the main transmission part of cycloidal gear speed reducer. The transmissive performance is determined by the quality and the precision of cycloidal gear. There are some disadvantages of the traditional mechanical testing method, such as low accuracy and low detection speed, so it can’t adapt the requirement of modern industry produce. With the development of science, it is a hot topic for scholars to research that substitute computer for human activity. By using a CCD industrial camera as a platform, OpenCV as a tool, the measurement method of pitch deviation is studied. It provides a new train of thought for measuring cycloidal gear pitch deviation.
