Support time of equipment includes maintenance support time and operational support time, shortening the support time of equipment is the main method to improve the operational availability [1, 2]. RMT parameters are important factors that affect support time of equipment. At the beginning of the product design, establishing the quantitative relation of RMT parameters and the support time not only can conduct a preliminary estimate for support time, but also can analyze the influence of various RMT parameters of support time. What’s more, the analysis results can be referenced for the tradeoff of the RMT parameters. Taking the test and maintenance process as the analysis object, which is the typical and important part of support progress of equipment, and based on the GSPN model of support progress, the quantitative relation of RMT parameters and support time was established, and the effect of RMT parameters at support time was discussed detailed.
