ABSTRACT

With the extensive use of Location-Based Services (LBS), the indoor localization based on WLAN has aroused people’s great attention. In most of those positioning systems, a mobile node estimates its position based on the locations of AP, in which is assumed to be known as a priori [1]. However, in many situations, such as shopping malls and offices, the location awareness of AP could not be achieved. It is impractical to be provided with AP location information of all those WLAN networks. Therefore, it is meaningful to localize AP in a reverse way.
