ABSTRACT

The peanut picking is an important operation link in peanut mechanization harvest, also is the core technology in the peanut combine harvester. The structure and operation parameters of the picking device determine to the operating performance of the peanut combine harvester. According to the feeing ways of the peanut picking device, it divided into half-feed type and the whole-feed type [1-2]. The whole-feed picking device is mainly used for picking a dry peanut. It has the characteristic of a large amount feeding quantity, highly productive, large power consumption, etc.; The half-feed picking device can be used for picking fresh and dry peanut, It has the characteristic of small feeding quantity, lowly productivity,

low power consumption [2-5]. It can better meet the needs of harvesting fresh peanut. It has a large market, especially in peanut production areas in southern China [6]. But compared with the whole-feed picking device, it has relatively complex structure and transmission system and highly technical requirements, and the picking quality is influenced by structure configuration and movement parameters of picking parts, and aspects of the plant. In the paper, the spatial location relationship of components and picking process is theoretical studied for self-development half-fried peanut picking device, the main influence factors and influence rule of the affecting picking quality is analyzed. The study provides a theoretical basis and technical reference for improving the picking performance of picking device.
