ABSTRACT

The fire detector is made up of video acquisition and output module, DSP processor module, communication module and power module. There are two cameras, which one is a color video signal, and the other is an infrared video signal. The two cameras of the video acquisition module will capture color and infrared scene real time and transmitted them to DSP processing center through video encoder. The DSP processing center will process the received videos, including denoise, fire detecting, and output. After the video were detected, they would output through VP0A. Then the monitor will be able to monitor realtime site conditions in the fire control center. The fire alarm signal would be transmitted to the fire control center through the RS485 communication module. Users can monitor the acquisition videos and send the controller signals to the fire detector with interface software or control device. The fire detector diagram is shown in Figure 1.
