ABSTRACT

Microseismic monitoring technology is a geophysical exploration method, which can record the rupture generated three-dimensional space of continuous real-time positioning during the deformation. Therefore, microseismic signal contains lots of useful information about the damage force of coal or rock and geological defects during the activity process, it can infer the mechanical behavior of coal and rock according this method, forecast the law and stability of fissures during mining coal and rock, and make a complete description of the disaster phenomena and dynamic monitoring. Microseismic monitoring technology is able to record the respond of coal and rock under disturbing. It can acquire the stress and strain during the process of evolution. It has gradually given full play its unique advantages on early warning and forecasting and stability assessment (Li 2009).
