ABSTRACT
AE characteristic parameters of rock mass are total events, AE event cumulative total per unit time, they can reflect the acoustic emission frequency, which is an important symbol of material damage, and the energy rate is the relative cumulative value of AE energy (acceleration release) per unit time release (mV ⋅ vs ⋅ s−1), which is an important sign to measure the fracture speed of coal medium and size change. But how to record instantaneous AE signal by instrument and extract useful parameters from these signals is the key to the research of AE technology.
