ABSTRACT

Obtain the photographs of the specimens after standard curing 2 h, 1 d, 7 d and 28 d by using Scanning Electron Microscopy. They are as shown in Figures 2-5.

It can be seen that ettringite is the main hydration product of rich-water filling material from Figure 2-5. And its microstructure character is reticular or acicular structure. There are a lot of spaces between the reticular structures of ettringite. With the growth of age, hydrate more and more sufficiently and product more ettringite in

the filling body. So the material strength mainly depends on the quantity of ettringite crystals.
