ABSTRACT

Among all kinds of analytical procedure for seismic slope stability, shaking table test is an effective method. Among them, Yung-Shan Hong used shaking table tests to examine the effects of the angle and length of the soil nail and the frequency of excitation on the seismic resistance and failure mechanism of the slopes (Hong et al. 2005). Ye et al. performed shaking table tests of rock slope supported by anchor bars in order to study the dynamic responses of anchor bars under earthquake (Ye et al. 2001). Yang and Wen studied the dynamic response characteristics of acceleration, displacement ad earth pressure of the slope with lattice framed anchor structure during X, Z, and XZ direction excitation of Wenchuan seismic wave respectively (Yang & Wen 2012).
