1 INTRODUCTION
Due to the dry climate and shallow coal seam in Xinjiang, coal-field fire are very serious. According to statistics (Cai & Wei 2008), there are currently 50 coal-field fire areas in Xinjiang, and the total area is about 570 m2, which lead to the loss of more than 15 million t coal. A large burning area is formed after the coal spontaneous combustion, causing a serious impact on safety production of mine.
