ABSTRACT
NILM is monitoring system for electrical circuit that contain several different appliances which can switch on and off independently, by a nonintrusive method. One of the earliest approaches was developed in the 1980s at MIT by George Hart which had its origins in load monitoring for residential buildings. These findings and its process are described in [4]. Both USA and France have developed their NILM system at 90’s of last century. Since, several methods have been developed to improve this system [5].
