ABSTRACT

Motivated by the aforementioned background, this paper considers the problem of decentralized tracking control for a class of uncertain nonlinear interconnected systems with quantized inputs. Base on uniform quantizers, a simplified adaptive fuzzy controller, in which only one parameter is needed to be estimated on-line, is synthesized. During the controller design process, Mamdani type fuzzy systems are used to directly approximate the desired control input signals instead of the unknown system nonlinearities, which not only circumvent the control sigularity problem but also has less adaptive parameters. The proposed controller guarantees the boundedness of all the signals in the closed-loop system and achieves good tracking performance.
