ABSTRACT

Internal model control is a simple and direct vision technique. And when it is used in antiwindup, the saturation nonlinearity is considered in the object model together with the plant model. The design of the way of the internal model control is putting the object model and the real plant model in parallel connection. And the internal model controller can be designed using the object model. The reference [5] has illustrated the internal model control is useful for anti-windup, but the controller’s output is still not the same as the plant input, which means the saturation is not completely disappeared. So this paper proposed a new framework of 3-DOF (degree of freedom) internal model control for anti-windup which increased a compensator based on 2-DOF internal model control structure. The compensator was designed using conditioning technique.
